Electrical Carbon Products Antitrust Litigation

This lawsuit is brought as a class action on behalf of all persons that purchased Electrical Carbon Products in the United States directly from Defendants, their subsidiaries, affiliates, or co-conspirators from at least as early as January 1, 1990 to at least December 31, 2001 (the "Class Period").

Plaintiffs allege that during the Class Period, Defendants engaged in a worldwide conspiracy, the purpose and effect of which was to fix, raise, maintain, or stabilize prices, and to allocate markets and customers for Electrical Carbon Products sold in the United States and elsewhere.

Because of Defendants' unlawful conduct, Plaintiffs and the other Class members paid artificially-inflated and supracompetitive prices for Electrical Carbon Products in the United States and, as a result thereof, have suffered antitrust injury to their business and property.
